More Adorable First Communion Favors

So excited to have been asked to create 1st communion favors for a friend of a friend. I hadn’t met her or her family until the cookie delivery but I could tell she was an amazing person through our email exchanges. She had a few design ideas for her son’s event and so I demo’ed up a few options. She picked the design I liked best, going to show she was as cool as I thought she was going to be 😉 I was excited to get started!

Blue and White… were our colors of choice. We decided on an oval cookie with swirls and a nice solid blue cross in the center. In a way, the swirls coming down from the top looked like rays from the heavens…I loved the thought of that!  They turned out very sweet and I hope Mitch has a memorable 1st communion and an amazing party with his family!

First Communion Crosses

I was honored to have been asked to create some cookies for an upcoming 1st communion party for an incredibly adorable little girl. I actually got to meet her last night and she’s just precious. Her Mommy picked out matching precious cookies too! 4 dozen delicate crosses with little roses on them. Perfectly paired! I’m sure the party will be beautiful today 🙂

On a personal note, I just loved the way these cookies turned out that I made an additional 4 dozen! I’m shipping them to some very special ladies 🙂 Of course in my sleep deprived haze I forgot to put any kind of note in the boxes to these ladies so I guess I’ll email them and let them know the surprise is on it’s way…or maybe it’ll make their day to just get a box of yummies in the mail 🙂
